As a dedicated Dorothy L. Sayers fan I DO have a few questions though:

Who was sat next to Meggan at dinner?

Sir Wesley was on one side, Jerry Cuswirth on the other.

Where is the fusebox? Anywhere near the cheese bin?

The fusebox is in the cellar, one flight down from the pantry.

Why was the bung blessed?

History doesn’t say.

And my theory – there WAS no discovery to announce. Sir W. had failed. It was suicide in the lift.
