As the Paragon of Power moved away Shazana Pel heard a clear, Mid-Eastern voice from behind, “If it’s any consolation I agree with you Thonggarian.”
“Ah, the mortal called Desert Rose. So you were eavesdropping then?”
“Yes. I believe it’s best to keep an eye on the potential conflicts. I raised myself in a life of conflict and danger. As I see it there is no peace. Just moments in-between battles.”
“I sense a warrior within you nomad. It appears there are many here who share the same attributes and mannerisms.” Shazana and Rose eye Keiko, the assassin from another universe as the oriental woman checked a window.
“Indeed. We have a kindred spirit. We have both been exiled from our homes and thrown into a company of souls we do not usually relate well with.”
“We have shared action together, you and I. I would not be against a pairing again. Maybe a training session?”
“Yes Pigeon Warrior. I agree. Maybe tomorrow, after we can each assess the surroundings better.”
Shazana eyed a certain Baroness speaking with De Brown Streak.
“I must excuse myself. Till later nomad.”
As Desert Rose nodded to Shazana Pel her ancient sentient Scimitar Areei spoke up, “Alright Rose, now that you’ve found a friend it’s my turn. Take me over to Knifie. I haven’t seen him in awhile.”
