As I said to Vizh, it was a combination of worrying about offending people and feeling a share in the general male guilt at how female comics characters get treated. Next issue, to make up for it, Flapjack gets chopped up and left in Sorceress' refrigerator.

Before posting it I actually ran it past Sarah, since she has every reason to be sensitive to this kind of tale, and she thought it was okay - so I went for it.

The Hooded Hood planned to arrange for Pelopia to be captured by the Ass-Raping Ninjas after arranging a war between them and the Word. Then CSFB! would have to steer the LL into intervening. That would lead to his bitter reunion with Pelopia, and his discovery of her father's true identity. And that in turn would lead to the LL vs Gideon Book and all his variety of power bases, even as CSFB!'s own life crumbled around him. Meanwhile, the Lynchpin would hire PAPG! to kill that nosy reporter Bernice Teshmaker and a silly scheme by Argh!Yle would go tragically wrong killing CSFB!'s mother and new sibling. Fortunately for the traumatised, shattered Dream, his old enemy the Hooded Hood will be there to support him and help him and the Legion survive, stronger and better than ever.
