Hatman went in hard and fast, his Donar cap granting him the strength and constitution of the hemigod of thunder. The Yurt growled and batted the capped crusader halfway to the horizon.

“You humans really have to do something about those physical laws of cause and effect,” the Manga Shoggoth suggested, oozing forward to intercept the monster; but the Yurt simply ploughed through him as if he wasn’t there.

“Out of the way, guys!” CSFB! called as the Yurt slammed down towards Uhuna, Trickshot, and Yo. The Yurt turned unexpectedly, smashing up the trees around him then seizing them up like a giant sweeping brush to hammer the heroes down.

Trickshot fell stunned, and the Yurt moved forward to step on him. CSFB! blurred in to pull the archer free; and he was so fast that he almost made it.

Two heroes died with a sickening squelch.

Hatman blazed back towards the Yurt, exchanging his Torpedos cap for his Donar helm again; but it was already too late…
