#225: Untold Interactive Tales of the Lair Legion: Dangerous Paths

“This whole place feels very strange,” Princess Uhuna worried. “I mean stranger than the rest.” She stared at the massive fruiting trees that grew all along the valley path. “This feels almost cultivated.”

“People might live here,” CrazySugarFreakBoy! suggested. “They might have deliberately planted all the fruit and flowers and stuff.”

“I have difficulty telling them apart,” the Shoggoth declared, somehow managing a sniff despite not having respitory apparatus. “Flowers and fruits and people, I mean.”

“Yo is sure the singing person is to be putting these here,” the thought being decided. “Yo is looking forward to be meeting such a nice singer.”

“Is it too much to hope that the babe’s as bodacious to look at as she is at singing?” Trickshot asked.

“She’s probably a monster,” Uhuna sulked. “It’s probably a death trap.”

“What singing?” asked the Shoggoth.

“This way,” Hatman called out. “There’s a clearing ahead, and that’s where the music’s coming from. Maybe we’ll get some answers there.”

He stepped down the path and had no chance of avoiding the rainbow flash that burst around the Legionnaires at the clearing’s edge.
