It was a hard landing. First the LairJet and then the Shoggoth broke up into little pieces. The Legionnaires pulled themselves out of the Shoggoth-goop painfully and hiked back to join up with each other – literally in the case of the team’s resident elder entity.

“And I thought we got beat up in that Wastelands case,” Trickshot groaned, rubbing his shoulder.

“I was eaten,” CSFB! remembered proudly.

“To be staying alert!” Yo called the team to order. “To be remembering that whoever was to be throwing that uncute rock at us is to be somewhere down here.”

“And whoever he is he can heave a boulder the size of an SUV high enough and fast enough to bowl an aircraft out of the skies,” Hatman added.

“Okay, so what’s the plan?” Trickshot asked, unslinging his bow. “Hunt the bad guy or chase the rainbow?”
