"Xena rocks." Dreamcatcher Foxglove exclaimed. "I mean...what a woman. And a lesbian to boot."
"She's not a lesbian, Dream...that's just in your head." spiffy tried to correct him.
"Sure she is..her and Gablielle? Total carpet-lickers. And as for Callisto, well she's just jealous of the love that they share.."

Donar sat silent. Normally he would be correcting the CrazySugarFreakBoy within an inch of his life for such an affrontery. But something weighed on his mind. It wasn't his Donar-sense, but it was something.

"Donar? Whatta you think?" Enty asked over the YIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYI coming from the fifth surround sound system he'd built.
"I must...." Donar got up and left the room looking distracted "..I must away for the nonce. Mjalcolm...to me."
Mjalcolm flew from the coffee table to Donar's extended hand as he hurried away.
"Oh man! Mjalcolm spilt the nachos!" CSFB was heard to complain through mouthfuls of carpet coated cheese.

And so Donar stood outside under the sky, his father. Surrounded by nature, his mother. He kneeled. Clubbing Mjalcolm firmly into the ground he sought out the disturbance that did trouble him so.

To explain the process he went through is somewhat akin to thinking you are standing still, then finding yourself on a ferris wheel. In a way he was...the life on Middlegard always had it's distractions. Most of all he loved the people. But for now..he needed to tune them out, and stop the wheel from spinning him. As he drifted deeper into his sub-conscious, he felt it...something was amiss...forces conspiring against him. Troia...something about his..about Troia.

He stood, sniffing the air. He could sense a storm on the coast of Brazil...a volcano erupting in the Phillipines...and a great work of majick to the north..with a growl, he flew towards the horizon.

Gail walked through the lush vegitation she called home. Pixies flew beside her, guiding her through the night, not that she needed it. The forest was like another of her children..it would always protect her, love her, catch her if she fell...vines slithered out of he path as flowers bloomed where once she stood. The canopy above her opened as a bolt of black lightning struck the ground before her..she smiled. "Donar, my baby boy!"

Embracing her son, she felt his pain. "What's wrong, sweetheart? Why have you drawn on the Primal?"
She spoke of the short ritual he had performed earlier. The Primal was a force, old when the first planets formed. Before life..before everything there was the Primal. Gods were known to tap into it's power in order to divulge themselves of any baggage that could cloud their senses. It was much like a calm berserker frenzy...a controlled state of thought that focused the God's mind for a time.
"I sense forces Mother...forces conspiring against me. And I sense my Fathers touch art involved." Donar admitted. "I can trust thee...if thou dost knoweth.."
"I wouldnt put it past him. We know what he's like sometimes."

"I have no idea what you're talking about" Dancer exclaimed to the one-eyed god sitting on a gold throne before her. "I don't even know who you are!"
"Wait. Thy face art known to me..." Oldman's advisor interrupted. "Thou art the Dancer art thou not?"
"How do you know th.." Dancer began to ask. She had no idea where she was, yet she couldnt shake the feeling of familiarity about it. "Am I dead? Is this heaven?"
"Release her." Oldman ordered. "I would hear her words. Visioneery? Thou dost recognise this strumpet whose affections shalt undo mine mighty empire?" he enquired, fists visibly clenching with underlying rage.
"Aye, my liege..she did recently aide thy son in his victory against the Mangrab."
"She art a warrior that didst aide in our defence?" Oldman stood, hands unclenching. "Perhaps in mine ire I misjudged thee milady. Come." He extended one hand. "I would talk with thee,"

A smile crept across Hoki's face. A drunk sleeping Amazon beside her was the reason. Now in her more comfortable female form, she admired the one her hated half-brother was so enamoured with. "The fool" he commented. "Such an easy feat to undress her..damn this honor of mine. I must fulfill mine plan."

Hoki shook the Troia's naked and snoring form with vigour. "Oh sweetheart?" now a He exclaimed. "Wouldnt you like to continue the foreplay and go...all the way?"
Troia grunted in reply. "Sounds like a yes to me." Hoki commented with a grin. Inside he cursed his inability to ravage her sleeping form. He did however know that a honorless victory against Donar meant nothing to the Thunder God, except an excuse to beat Hoki to death. Hoki had all but kissed Troia's exposed stomach when she'd drifted off to a deep sleep. Half an hour had passed..and he decided it was time to try again, yet still the Amazonian dozed. He shook her. "My dear? We have many heights of pleasure to reach..wake up."
Troia instead snored deeply.

"Damn." he commented, turning back to her female form. "Another thirty minutes...the I just slay her and be done with it."

"So..you sense Troia...and your father's work. I can understand your worry hun." Gail placed a comforting hand on Donar's shoulder. "If it's any consolation, I can feel a rift too...north of here. Come on..we'll demand he tells us." Gail stated, rolling up her silken sleeves. " I warned him about messing with you on my watch."
"Nay mother..." Donar held Gail back by her shoulders. "Tis a matter of honor. I must confront him mineself."

Then. with a mother's kiss to his cheek and a hug that sang of his gratitude, he was off towards the sky again.

"I DEMAND TO KNOW WHAT DOTH TRANSPIRE!" Donar demanded, shaking off the battalion of Oldman's guards that cling to him like tissue paper on a runaway steam train. "Taryy me not, minions. Respect thy Prince's wishes." he continued dusting a stray guard from his shoulder.
"Prince Donar!" Visioneery exclaimed. "Tis always a boon to have thee in attendance...how art thou?"
"Mine warnings art extended to thee also, loyal vizier. Where art mine father?" Donar rudely slammed.
"Please your highness...relax thine temper. He dost speak with thy beloved in the main chambers."
"Tis a mistake " Donar remarked. "That he shalt live to regret."

"SO lemme get this straight " a confused Dancer restated. "I came here with DOnar a short while ago, and we fought a beast called Mangrab? And I served coffee to keep the troops hyper..then we left. Is that right?"
"Aye milady. Tis correct." Oldman reassured her.
"Then why do I not recollect a shred of this?" She pointed logically.
"Ausgard is a most majickal realm..thy memories were stripped at thy insistance. Howe'er thou shalt soon find that when in Ausgard, thy memories of her slowly return."

Dancer sat and pondered this for a moment. "Visioneery rides a beaver-drawn chariot?"
"Beaver of All-Knowing." Oldman corrected her.

At that moment the monolithic gold and red doors flew from their hinges. "Father. Unhand milady Troia, lest I renounce mine throne and leave thee to..Dancer."
"Hi!" She waved with a grin. "Your dad and I have been chatting."
Donar looked around, confused. "But..My loved...where art she?"

Another 30 minutes ticked by on Hoki's clock. "Ok sweetheart...this is it. You can wake up and be ravaged or sleep and be savaged."
Troia snored.
"Savaged it is." Hoki exclaimed with a grin, and brandishing a kris. But she noticed something wrong. "Testing..testing." Strange. She still sounded female. She did a quick appendage stocktake in the still dark room, using her non-dagger-wielding hand. "I'm still female? I should be male!". Trying again, she found herself still inside her female body. "Great..ironic too, seeing as I should be inside HER female body by now."

It was then that Oldman's face appeared in the grain of the wooden wall. "Hoki...thy perfidy is known to me...and the Amazonian shalt be spared."
"FATHER!" Hoi spat with contempt. "Can you not see that she is a weakness to thy beloved son? And he is to one day be king, then this weakness could be exploited. I shall slay her...or thy son. For the good of the realm."
"Thou art fooling no-one Hoki." Oldman chuckled. "ANd I believe that thou should stay thy words and illuminate the room..thou dost have a guest.." the wood-grain commented before becoming a wall again.

Hoki spun back on the bed, dagger raised regardless of Oldman's threat. She was on Earth, and he was forbidden here in person anyway. His words were impotent. With a glint of moonlight in the blade, she struck, the blade penetrating deep into the mattress.
"Troia must have moved. Tis no big deal." She commented, flipping on the light.

"Oh..I think it IS a big deal, bitch." Troia said, fully dressed and brandishing her spear.
Behind her stood Gail, arms crossed. "Sorry dear. " Gail lied. "While you were chatting with your Father, I removed the toxins from Troia's body and filled her in on the whole plan. Well. Must run." she continued, before stepping out the balcony door and into the night.
"You. Bitch. Dead. Now. Very." Troia hissed.
"Now...just wait a minute, Troia.." Hoki began dodging the spear head that was dancing past her ears. "..You saw him with Dancer..he was betraying you..It's him you want to kill.."
"Hmm." Troia pondered. "But you're here...and I hate you more." her spear puncturing Hoki's arm.
"Fine." Hoki hissed. "You wanna play rough..the we'll play rough!"
Hoki stood nude on the bed and clenched her fists. "Ala Muki!" she yelled as nothing in particular happened.
"What the f..?" Hoki said perplexed by the fact that she wasnt a Riverdragon.
"What..you're gonna cuss at me in Malaysian and shake your boobs at me? Might work on the guys hun..but not me." Troia grunted as she buried her spear deep in Hoki's shoulder. "Oh..by the way..Gail tells me Oldman's cut you off from your little shapeshifting thing until the sun rises. Oopsie. I was meant to tell you sooner. "
"AAAAAAHHHH!!" Hoki screamed in pain as Troia twisted the spearhead in the tender flesh. "Cease! I sub..mit.." Hoki pleaded before falling to the floor in a ball of agony.
"Wuss." Troia remarked. "Tell you this mush..you ever..EVER get between me and Donar again?" Troia dug deeper with the spearhead. "..I think you get the point. Get it? Point? HA! I made a witty one-liner."

Oldman and Visioneery were again in the throneroom, wishing a safe journey to Donar and Dancer.
"Hie thee well, Dancer." Oldman declared. "And thee my son. By mine acts have I redeemed my affrontery to thee. But know this. No mortal woman shall e'er be Queen of Ausgard."
"We shalt see, father.." Donar backhanded as he and Dancer vanished in a ball of light.

"Indeed we shall son....indeed we shall."

Dancer and Donar sat in the Bean and Donut as she tried to get a handle on what happened before she forgot it all again. "So." She started. "Your dad thought I was your girlfriend and abducted me. I told him it was Troia, who the Visionneery then found on Eart..er...'Middlegard', right?"
"Aye."
"Then. Oldman stripped Hoki's ability to shapeshift so Troia would have a fair chance of victory, but your MOM stepped in removing the alcohol and filling Troia in on the whole plan."
"Aye again. Seems Ausgardians fight well when drunk. Mine father assumed the same of Troia."
"So...where is she now?"
"I..." Donar stumbled on his words. "I tried callingeth her before...she quietly wished for time to think..and hungeth up."
"I'm sorry D. It'll work out. I know it." Dancer comforted.

Troia sat in her room, admiring Donar's face in an LoR group photo. "Suffering Sappho." she exclaimed before throwing the picture across the room...then retrieving it only to stare at him again.
"I wonder if it's too late to go back to an island free of men."
